On September 25-26, 2025, partners gathered at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm for the Kick-Off Meeting of Advanced Realities for Innovation and Skills Enhancement (ARISE).
Over two days, discussions focused on:
⇒ ARISE objectives, impact, and expected outcomes for advancing Extended Reality (XR) in higher education and professional training
⇒ Governance, management structure, and communication channels
⇒ Work Packages on self-standing online modules and the double-degree master’s programme in Human-Computer Interaction & Design
⇒ Strategies for marketing, visibility, and dissemination to engage students, professionals, and wider communities
⇒ Financial and administrative guidelines ensuring effective delivery and accountability
The Kick-Off Meeting also set the stage for strong collaboration across academia and industry, paving the way for Europe to lead in XR technologies applied to education, culture, healthcare, and creative industries.

✨ Stay tuned as ARISE develops innovative learning opportunities, new digital skills pathways, and supports Europe’s digital transformation.
