Women Leading the Future of XR: Inclusion, Skills, and Europe’s Digital Agenda

Last week, on 11 February, we marked International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is always a reminder of how essential representation is in shaping Europe’s digital future.

Extended Reality continues to open new opportunities across research, innovation, and education. Ensuring that women are actively participating in and leading these developments is not just a matter of visibility, but of long-term competitiveness and inclusion.

Evolutionary Archetypes Consulting SL and 28DIGITAL support initiatives that embed gender awareness directly into skills development pathways. Programs like ARISE integrate inclusion into their Human-Computer Interaction and XR learning tracks, helping ensure that advanced digital skills are accessible to diverse talent across Europe.

By strengthening inclusive participation in XR and Human-Computer Interaction, ARISE contributes to a more balanced and forward-looking digital landscape.
