Meet the Partners behind ARISE – Advanced Realities for Innovation and Skills Enhancement

Co-funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme (HaDEA), ARISE – Advanced Realities for Innovation and Skills Enhancement, unites 13 partners across Europe to advance education, research, and innovation in Extended Reality (XR).

Here’s who’s making it happen:

• 28DIGITAL (28DGTL) – Project coordinator leading management, visibility, dissemination, and promotion throughout the project.

• Aalto University (AALTO) – Lead beneficiary for the Master’s program, designing and delivering the double-degree in Human-Computer Interaction & Design with XR specialization.

• Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) – Leads the development and delivery of self-standing XR learning modules and micro-credentials.

• KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) – Hosts the kick-off and supports research on skill needs and curriculum development in XR education.

• Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) – Academic partner shaping the XR curriculum and contributing to teaching, internships, and innovation in immersive technologies.

• University of Twente (UT) – Contributes to program delivery and specialization design within the second cycle of the Master’s in Extended Reality.

• Linköping University (LIU) – Supports curriculum design and delivery, fostering connections between higher education and XR research.

• University of Trento (UNITN) – Participates in curriculum development and contributes to research-based XR education and evaluation activities.

• Evolutionary Archetypes Consulting SL (EAC) – Partner focusing on dissemination, communication strategy, and outreach across creative industries.

• Tech Valley Management (TECHVALLEY) – Industry partner linking academia with SMEs and XR companies, ensuring market relevance and employability outcomes.

• University de Rennes (UNIVRENNES) – Leads quality assurance and harmonization of curricula across ARISE educational programs.

• Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) – Supports curriculum development and contributes to dissemination and research alignment in XR education.

• Fifth Ingenium (FIFTH) – SME providing XR technical expertise and hosting student internships and practical training in immersive technologies.

Together, these partners are building Europe’s next generation of immersive learning and XR innovation.
