As part of the RESCHIP4EU project, Work Package 2 (WP2) focuses on designing and delivering self-standing learning modules that directly respond to Europe’s urgent need for skills in Embedded Systems Design and IoT.
Coordinated by TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, WP2 is creating microlearning experiences that support both professionals and job seekers through certification-ready, modular content that promotes upskilling, reskilling, and workforce mobility.
📌 Task 2.1 – Market Analysis & Module Development
Led by Politecnico di Milano, this task assesses the short-term needs of the European labor market, especially for professionals already active in the tech sector. It develops learning modules and certification schemes that are:
• Industry-aligned
• Tailored for asynchronous and synchronous formats
• Modular, scalable, and career-relevant
The curriculum includes at least 8 self-standing modules and 3 summer programs, covering
topics such as:
• Embedded AI, GPU Programming, Chip Design
• Green IoT, Smart IoT AI, HW Security
• Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Modules will be co-developed by academic and industry partners for blended or fully online delivery.
📌 Task 2.2 – Delivery of the Learning Modules
Led by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, this task manages the actual
rollout of the modules via a unified online platform. Each module includes:
• Asynchronous components (videos, exercises, business challenges)
• Optional live sessions for real-time learning
• Certification exams available in fixed time windows (January & May)
Participants can register via a centralized portal (managed by EIT Digital ) and take courses on a flexible schedule, perfect for working professionals seeking certification in emerging chip and IoT technologies.
These self-standing modules expand access to high-demand digital skills, support certification across borders, and address Europe’s semiconductor talent gap in a scalable, learner-centered way.
