Aalto University welcomed nearly 200 students to its annual Double Degree Day, where visitors explored international study pathways and learned what it means to complete double, and even triple, Master’s degrees across Europe.
This year, ARISE – Advanced Realities for Innovation and Skills Enhancement was featured among the programs presented. Students had the chance to discover how ARISE brings together Human-Computer Interaction, Extended Reality (XR), and digital innovation, offering a unique blend of technical depth and human-centered design.
The session introduced learners to:
• How the ARISE Master’s connects academic study with emerging XR careers
• The value of cross-country study routes and international collaboration
• Opportunities for mobility, internships, and industry engagement
• Pathways into immersive technologies and creative digital industries
The strong curiosity and questions from students highlighted a growing interest in future-ready education that bridges creativity, research, and real-world impact.
