SPECTRO: Looking at entrepreneurship beyond the theory

From Idea to Execution: Exploring Entrepreneurship at the Unfiltered Workshop

On 12 March 2026, students gathered at the Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus for the Unfiltered: the truth about entrepreneurship workshop, an interactive session focused on what it really takes to move from an idea to a startup-ready solution.

Organized by 28DIGITAL, the workshop brought together participants from across Europe and featured SPECTRO, alongside other initiatives from the EIT Digital Master School. The session offered a practical perspective on entrepreneurship, going beyond theory and into the steps involved in shaping, testing, and refining ideas.

Throughout the workshop, students worked in teams to explore key aspects of early-stage development. This included defining product direction, understanding user needs, and navigating the challenges of collaboration and decision-making. The session also introduced participants to the basics of early-stage funding, helping them understand how ideas evolve into viable concepts.

What made the workshop particularly valuable was its focus on active participation. Rather than passively learning about startups, students engaged directly with real-world challenges, presenting their ideas and receiving feedback in a collaborative setting.

As part of its broader approach, SPECTRO supports learning experiences that connect technical education with innovation and entrepreneurship. Activities like this help students build not only technical expertise, but also the skills needed to develop, communicate, and adapt ideas in fast-moving environments.
