Service-sector robotics (healthcare deliveries, logistics, facility assistants) is moving from pilots into routine use, creating roles that require both technical and applied skills.
Cobot deployments change workflows and create on-site support and operator roles, while increasing the need for staff training and oversight (Source).
Short robotics micro-credentials and modular courses are widely promoted across EU policy as rapid, labour-market-relevant routes to upskill technicians and engineers for new technical roles (Source).
Built by a consortium of European universities to meet real industry needs, SPECTRO’s robotics offer modular short courses with double-degree pathways and hands-on industry internships, giving learners direct routes into practical roles like systems integrator, field-service technician, and human-robot interaction specialist.
