Bio

Sarthak Sengupta is pursuing a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad, Prayagraj, and working as a Program Assistant at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering and an MBA in Marketing and Human Resource Management. He has more than 6 years of work experience in academia and industry. His research areas and teaching interests include digital marketing, business analytics, social media analytics, economics, cybersecurity, and management information systems. He has 35 research publications in leading journals, conferences, book chapters, and a book along with 1 patent granted and 1 patent filed. He has worked in different parts of India, which has helped him in becoming a highly adaptable individual. He likes working in challenging environments, which has helped him develop a dynamic personality with cross-cultural sensitivity. He had participated in JENESYS (Economics batch) - a people-to-people exchange program promoted and funded by the Japanese Government to foster international cooperation and economic partnership. He is the recipient of the American Finance Association Travel Grant Award, the Young Scientist Award, and 4 best paper awards. He has a Diploma in Cyber Law. He is a Certified System Security Analyst and was the Chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch, IIIT-A. His international exposure includes Malaysia, Japan, China, Thailand, and the United States of America.
