Reinhard Wilmar is a Senior at the University of Michigan majoring in Statistics. He has around 4 years of experience in data science and analytics from his courses, projects, and internships. Most recently, Reinhard helped integrate various student information and scholarship databases into a data virtualization layer. This allows him to query based on specific student information or scholarship restrictions and create a scholarship opportunity distribution tool for both students and scholarship providers. Previously, Mr. Wilmar interned at Google, consulting small businesses on digital marketing strategy using Google Ads analytics. In addition, he was a data analyst at the Michigan Data Science Team where he competed in a Google-sponsored Kaggle competition where he used the skills gained from the Statistics courses he took in college to predict the revenue per customer in their merchandise store. Throughout his life, he has been involved in entrepreneurship with various businesses (like app.lyrid.io), projects, and internships in multiple industries, such as healthcare, aquaculture, food & beverages (F&B), hotel, and recreational facility technology.
