Meet Ramon De Souza Domingues, a Senior Petroleum Engineer at Petrobras with over a decade of experience in the upstream segment of the Oil Industry. He is a former Captain Engineer at the Brazilian Army where he gained valuable experience in Communication Systems and Information Technologies. Ramon holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Communications from the Military Institute of Engineering in Brazil, as well as a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa. He is a specialist in porous media flow modeling and simulation and has collaborated on projects with national and international universities. Ramon has a keen interest in mathematical topics that support engineering activities, such as information theory, game theory, and statistical physics, which he continues to explore in his academic pursuits.
