Bio
Michelle Denise Miller, Ph.D., is a researcher, writer, speaker, facilitator, professor of Psychological Sciences and President’s Distinguished Teaching Fellow at Northern Arizona University, and a series co-editor of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in West Virginia University Press. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from UCLA. She has taught at Northern Arizona University for over 24 years and was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rice University. She is an expert in higher education, public speaking, instructional technology, instructional design, psychology, e-learning, student affairs, research, science, research design, community outreach, and student development.
