Metta Sandiford-Artest is a former NBA All-Star Champion basketball player for teams like the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, and the Los Angeles Lakers, among others, as well as the Founder and Chairman of Artest Management Group, an investment management company, and Founder of Gradelo Inc., an app for connecting amateur and professional athletes, coaches, and other people in sports. In 2004, he won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award and was also named an NBA All-Star and earned All-NBA honors. In 2011, Metta won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, for "outstanding service and dedication to the community”.
