“Why should you learn about nanotechnology?

The next generation of a wide range of technologies, including personalized medicine, highly efficient solar cells, large-capacity batteries,  water purification membranes, and skin-rejuvenating cosmetics, to name a few, are made possible by nanotechnology. The global economy is already being impacted by nanotechnology, and in the coming years, it will generate many well-paying jobs.”

Dr. Marco Curreli is an instructor for courses in Research Science and Nanotechnology, a Motivational Speaker for STEM, and a Social Entrepreneur in education technology. His expertise includes nanotechnology, chemistry, materials science, and communication. He is passionate about exploring new, uncharted territories in STEM education, especially through teaching online nanotechnology courses. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University. He is the Executive Director of Omni Nano, a non-profit organization for nanotechnology educational content. He has been instructing nanotechnology courses at colleges and universities in California and online, inspiring future generations of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs of advanced materials and nanotechnology.
