Sam Bodunrin started his career in human resource management as an HR professional in a large multinational corporation. He quickly rose through the ranks, eventually taking on leadership roles in HR strategy and talent management. As he progressed in his career, Professor Sam became increasingly interested in the theoretical foundations of HR and organizational behavior, and he decided to pursue a doctoral degree to further his understanding of these topics.

After earning his Ph.D. in Management and Human Resources from the Central University of Nicaragua, Professor Bodunrin joined the faculty of the prestigious Graduate School, Niagara College, and Algoma University where he has spent time teaching courses on human resource management, business, and project management, and organizational behavior.
