Dr. Mostafa Bakr is a supply chain professional and scholar with more than 15 years of experience in operations, out of which 10 years have been in the Supply Chain of a leading global food manufacturing company. He is an online instructor teaching courses in Operations Strategy and coaching undergraduate research work in the scope of supply chain management. He has studied channels of distribution and routes to markets using a logistic regression model. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (2018), a Master’s in Philosophy (2014), and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management (2004). He also holds a BA in Economics from The American University in Cairo (Egypt). He is currently studying statistical forecasting using SAS. He currently serves as SAP Implementation Manager & Supply Chain Integration Lead for Nestlé Middle East. Previous positions include Supply Chain Manager at Nestlé, Customer Service Manager and Order to Cash Lead/Supply Chain Operations Manager (Import, Export & Clearance) at Nestlé Egypt, and Lecturer at Nile University’s School of Business for the Business Administration Program, among others.
