Kamal Al-Malah received a Ph.D. degree from Oregon State University in 1993. He served as a Professor of Chemical Engineering in Jordan and Gulf countries, as well as the Former Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. Besides his chemical/biochemical engineering background and his M.S. and Ph.D. work which focused on protein interactions, covering their behavior in solutions and at the interfaces, like adsorption, he is the number one expert in modeling, simulation, optimization, bottle-neck analysis, process control and dynamics, safety, and economics aspects of chemical processes using both Aspen Plus and MATLAB platform. In addition, he is a Windows-based software developer.
