E.D. Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs are business people who specialize in innovation. Entrepreneurs are creative thinkers with the passion and drive to push their ideas beyond existing boundaries. Successful entrepreneurs use all the tools and knowledge at their disposal to bring those ideas to life. That’s why, as an E.D. entrepreneurship student, you learn everyday ongoing business development and management, in addition to the start-up phase. Course Description: The focus of this course is to prepare current and aspiring entrepreneurs with the business foundation and networking opportunities to start a new venture. The E.D. Entrepreneurship course teaches and helps implement the skills for starting and growing enterprises.

Students will:

  •     Learn all of the steps and requirements to start a business.
  •     Identify the strengths and weaknesses of for-profit and non-profit businesses.
  •     Learn strategies to create innovation and community impact.
  •     Implement effective Marketing strategies to increase sales.
  •     Develop a working model from which to start an innovative business venture.
  •     Network with other Entrepreneurs
