Introduction to Microbiology
This course will provide a basic overview of the Science of Microbiology. It will include discussions of the history of the science, the structure of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, microbial nutrition and metabolism, host/parasite relationships and the disease process, epidemiology, major microbial groups and mechanisms for microbial control.
This is an introductory course in the science of Microbiology, suitable for students of Nursing and general biological sciences.
