About Artest University
Artest University, Inc., is an institution dedicated to empowering youth in underprivileged communities through education, sports, and mental health awareness.
Founded in September 2007 by NBA star Metta World Peace, originally as Xcel University, we changed our name to The Artest Foundation in May 2019 to better align with our mission and vision.
AU is focusing efforts to develop an institution of higher education with a rigorous academic curriculum, with the support of ICARUS AI technology, tendering advanced degrees and certifications in multiple disciplines delivered in-person and online via a proprietary learning platform.
